We've been here several times, and recently the prices have gone up and there have been some VERY minor problems with the food. Otherwise I'd give it 5 stars. It is still delicious! My vegetables in my curry were a little underdone the last time, but the flavors were still awesome. The service is always very friendly.
Just ordered from here as we sit and watch the news hoping the fires get contained. Food was delicious. The staff was friendly and courteous as we ordered. Portions were large. Veggies tasted fresh. Shrimp were large and crisp. Pad Thai yummy, spicy fried rice full of veggies. Tom ka soup had so much flavor. Will definitely order again!
Family owned hole in the wall place. Good food and warm service. I'm from LA so I have had better Thai food in the city, but this place hits the spot.
There are a few Thai restaurants around the 805, but my family likes this one because the staff is very friendly, prices are good, and all the dishes we have tried have been good enough. Also, it's the nearest Thai food to us and they are quick in getting the food out (may or may not be a good thing). Every time we order to go, here's what we get: Tom yum soup, veggie only - this one is for my wife and it's her favorite Thai dish. She says it taste as good as the ones she had in Orange County, and she loves that they put a lot of veggies. Beef fried rice, no veggies - this one is for my son, and he loves the rice. The beef sometimes is a little tough. But I do agree that the rice itself is very delicious. Chicken satay - This is the one that I get. It's simple but so delicious. Especially with the peanut sauce, definition of comfort food. Although Chicken can sometimes be overcooked sometimes. Chicken pad Thai - my wife and I love the pad Thai they make here. Everything that goes in the pad Thai is cooked well, even the chicken. If you live in the 805 and craving some good Thai food, I recommend Blue Elephant. They are worth a shot!
The food was great, the service was excellent. We got spicy noodles, curry fried rice and spring rolls. We also got sticky rice and mango which was just the best. My partner felt that the spring rolls were too oily, but we enjoyed the food and the service overall. The ambience was also nice and clean.
